| It is all about jobs…or at least that is what President Obama and leadership in Congress is telling us. So, why with unemployment hovering around 10 percent, are they reducing worksite enforcement of immigration laws?Even though worksite enforcement opens jobs for Americans, when illegal workers are caught, they’re released, so they can take another job. If that’s not bad enough, the Obama Administration thinks it’s OK to continue admitting more than a million foreign workers a year to take American jobs – all while American citizens and legal workers struggle to find decent wages to pay their mortgages and put food on the table.
FAIR, as part of The Coalition for the American Worker, has just launched two new TV ads that are running in markets around the country asking the President why he and leaders in Congress refuse to enforce our immigration laws, especially when Americans need jobs!
